Kale Chips

So, we all know the benefits of Kale and how great it is for us. Eat More Kale stickers are everywhere in Vermont, and there is now a documentary being made on the Eat More Kale guy called A Defiant Dude.

Here is a simple recipe that takes no time at all to get Kale in your body!

  1. Soak and wash the Kale - make sure it is completely dry before proceeding to the next step.
  2. Tear it into 1-2 inch pieces and place in a bowl
  3. Pour olive oil over the Kale and mix well making sure to massage the olive oil into all the pieces
  4. Lay the Kale out on baking sheets and sprinkle with Himalayan sea salt.
  5. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes or until browned
  6. Let cool and enjoy! The Kale Chips melt in your mouth.
You can also use coconut oil instead of olive oil for a slightly sweeter taste mixed with the salt. Eat as many as you want - it's much better than downing a bag of lays!
