Announcing Abigail Schmidt to help with Sensory Camp 2016

I am so excited to have Abigail assisting with Sensory Camp this summer. I've known Abigail since she was a Freshman in high school. At that time, she observed me at Ludlow Elementary School, beginning her love for occupational therapy at an early age! I've also know Abigail's Mom, Lisa, for years, one of the most loving, caring, fun-spirited woman I've ever met, and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!

Abigail just finished her freshman year at the University of Vermont (UVM), studying Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Special Education. After her four years at UVM, Abigail plans to pursue a masters degree in Occupational Therapy. She plays club soccer at UVM following her passion for soccer from high school. In her free time, Abigail likes to snowboard, hike, and spend time outdoors. When heading back to school in the fall, Abigail is looking forward to working for Think College Vermont - a mentorship program for college aged adults with disabilities looking to continue their education. She's also excited to be working at The Little School in Weston this summer, and looking forward to helping out with Sensory Camp 2016 and learning more about Occupational therapy, holistic interventions and sensory integration therapy.
